Notes About Alberta Box Lacrosse Tournaments
1) All tournament schedules must be sent to that city's Referee-in-Chief
10 days prior to the touranment. Any team or organization failing to comply
with this request will be fined $400.
2) When submitting your Referee Request and Tournament Request Forms,
please ensure the forms are filled out completely before sending.
3) All tournament applications must be sent to Lisa Smith at the Alberta
Lacrosse Association office.
4) All cheques paying for tournament officials must be sent to that city
or town's Referee-in-Chief.
Officiating At a National Championship
If you have refereed in the province for a couple
of years, and you feel you are qualified, a national championship is a
fantastic experience for any official wanting to improve their skills,
and see some of the best lacrosse Canada has to offer.
Officials wanting to submit their name for any National Championship must
submit their name to the ALRA Referee-in-Chief no later than July
1st. Officials having applied will be monitored to verify their
qualification for the tournament.
